1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using ReviewShroud ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

2. Description of Service

ReviewShroud is an anonymous review and feedback platform that allows:

  • Customers to leave anonymous reviews for businesses
  • Businesses to receive and respond to reviews
  • Two-way anonymous communication between reviewers and businesses
  • Driver rating and fleet management (Fleet Plan)
  • Employee reporting (confidential workplace feedback)

3. Pricing & Payment

Subscription Plans:

  • Starter: £29/month - Up to 100 reviews/month, single location
  • Professional: £99/month - Unlimited reviews, up to 5 locations
  • Enterprise: £249/month - Unlimited everything, multiple locations
  • Fleet Plan: £399/month - For logistics companies, unlimited drivers

Payment Terms:

  • Payments are processed securely through Stripe
  • Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
  • All prices are in GBP (£) and exclude VAT (if applicable)
  • We reserve the right to change prices with 30 days' notice

4. Free Trial & Cancellation

Free Trial: New businesses receive a 14-day free trial. No credit card required for trial period.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You will continue to have access until the end of the period you've paid for.

Refunds: We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you're not satisfied, contact us within 30 days of your first payment for a full refund.

5. User Responsibilities

Reviewers:

  • Provide honest, accurate reviews
  • Do not post defamatory, offensive, or illegal content
  • Do not spam or abuse the platform
  • Respect the anonymity of the system

Businesses:

  • Provide accurate business information
  • Respond to reviews professionally
  • Do not attempt to identify anonymous reviewers
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

6. Prohibited Content

You agree not to post content that:

  • Is defamatory, libelous, or slanderous
  • Contains hate speech or discrimination
  • Is sexually explicit or pornographic
  • Violates intellectual property rights
  • Contains spam, malware, or phishing attempts
  • Violates any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these terms without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of reviews and content you submit. By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, display, and distribute it on our platform.

Our Content: All platform features, design, code, and trademarks are owned by ReviewShroud. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission.

8. Service Availability

We strive for 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may:

  • Perform scheduled maintenance
  • Experience technical issues beyond our control
  • Modify or discontinue features

We are not liable for any loss or damage resulting from service interruptions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • We provide the service "as is" without warranties
  • We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months
  • We are not responsible for content posted by users

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold ReviewShroud harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Data & Privacy

Your use of the service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect, use, and protect your data.

12. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately if you:

  • Violate these Terms of Service
  • Engage in fraudulent activity
  • Fail to pay subscription fees
  • Abuse the platform or other users

Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

14. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
